I'm Abram Gomez, and if there's one thing you should know about me, it's this. I believe growth is a decision, and I've built my life around helping people make it.
From rented rooms with folding chairs to conference stages in front of a few thousand, I've spent over 20 years leading in that time planted churches, building teams, and pouring into leaders who are usually carrying more than they let on.
MY PASSION? LEADERSHIP, PERSONAL GROWTH, AND DEVELOPING THE PEOPLE WHO DEVELOP EVERYBODY ELSE.
Today I serve as Senior Executive Pastor at Cross Church, one of America's largest bilingual ministries, and I'm a member of the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. Along the way I wrote a book called Personal Growth Is Personal, built leadership curriculum churches across the United States are still using, and founded Outpour, a youth and young adult conference that's going strong 17 years later. I also played golf with John Maxwell once. Still one of my core memories.
When I'm not on a stage or in a staff meeting, you'll find me with my wife and kids, lost in a bookstore, or sitting in a baseball stadium somewhere. I read more than I probably should, I take notes on everything, and I still have a high regard for the platform before I preach. I believe in the local church, the long game, and dying empty. I believe most people are one honest conversation away from their next step. And I believe the person you become matters more than the platform you build.

Abram plays a crucial role in leading the 4,500 weekly attendance congregation of Cross Church across 7 campuses in Rio Grande Valley and beyond. With a Master's Degree from Liberty University and a Bachelor's Degree from Nelson University formally named Southwestern Assemblies of God University, he has not only pursued academic excellence but has also applied his knowledge to create impactful curriculum. Abram has authored curriculum for Nation 2 Nation Christian University, which is now widely used in churches and countries around the world. His dedication to education and sharing insights underscores his commitment to equipping others for leadership in the Kingdom.
